1. Information we collect

We collect what you give us: your email, name, state, and waitlist answers. After you’re invited, identity verification requires your legal name, date of birth, address, Social Security number, and a photo of a government ID, which our identity verification provider may collect on our behalf.

When you use VEQORI, we collect card transaction data, public wallet addresses and balances, device and app information, and your messages to support. Our website collects usage data through cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy. We don’t receive the key shares stored on your phone or in your encrypted backup.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to run the waitlist and send your invite; to verify your identity and meet legal duties, such as anti-money-laundering and sanctions screening; to operate your card, wallet, and rewards; to prevent fraud and keep the service secure; to answer support requests; and to improve the product.

We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and each one has an unsubscribe link. We don’t send marketing texts.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run VEQORI: with our partner bank that issues the card, our identity verification provider, card processors and Visa, and providers of hosting, analytics, email, and support tools, who may use it only to serve us. We also share it when the law requires it or to protect people from fraud.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

GLBA notice: Federal law gives you the right to limit some, but not all, sharing of your personal information by financial institutions. VEQORI does not share your information with non-affiliated companies so they can market to you. Our partner bank’s privacy notice, provided when you’re approved, explains how the bank handles your information.

4. Your privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to get a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out. You can also limit our use of sensitive personal information; we use it only to provide the service and meet legal duties. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@veqori.xyz. We’ll verify your identity before we respond, and you may use an authorized agent. Some information covered by the GLBA or needed for legal compliance may be exempt from deletion. If you live in another state with similar laws, we’ll honor the rights those laws give you.

5. Retention and contact

Retention: We keep personal information while you use VEQORI and afterward for as long as the law requires, for example to keep identity and transaction records. We delete waitlist data we no longer need.

Security: We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, so please tell us right away if you suspect misuse.

Children: VEQORI is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Changes: If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
